Hearing their stories and their perspectives on life and what makes them tick. I enjoy working with people that have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and schizophrenia. I specialize in c o-occurring disorder, trauma, life transitions, and adjustment issues. When I am not at work I enjoy s pending time with my family, running and playing sports, rooting for the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers, and playing board games with friends. My practice includes psychological assessments for adolescents and adults, along with individual, marriage and group counseling.

I received my degree from St. Cloud State University. I was first introduced to the mental health field when I began working with children and adults in neurodevelopmental disorders in a corporate foster care setting. I also have experience in working with adults diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illnesses in outpatient, in-home, and residential settings. My primary approach is cognitive behavioral therapy. I enjoy learning about the interconnectedness of cognitions, emotions, and behaviors, and how their roles develop for each respective individual.

I am particularly passionate about working with adolescents and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders. I am also a firm advocate for cultural competency and enjoy working with individuals and the challenges that are traditionally associated with marginalized populations. My specialties include nerodevelopmental disorders, primarily autism spectrum disorder as well as intellectual disabilities. Outside of work, I am very interested in working out and physical health.

I received my bachelor's degree in kinesiology, so diet and exercise have always been of particular interest to me.
